Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team to develop project scopes, design and timelines
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify designs
- Collaborate with construction professionals to ensure designs are feasible
- Assist with the design of architectural projects, including creating drawings, sketches, and models
- Conduct research on building codes and regulations to ensure compliance
- Provide support for project managers, including tracking project progress, attending meetings, and communicating with clients
- Attend site visits and inspections to ensure project requirements are being met
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rendering tools, Microsoft office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client meetings and workload demands
